David Palos has called Moorpark home for over a decade. He and his family have built their lives here — raising children in our schools, supporting local businesses, and investing in the community we love.
David is a community-minded leader focused on preserving what makes Moorpark special while making smart, practical investments in its future.
His priorities center on helping local small businesses thrive, expanding opportunities for youth through sports and community programs, maintaining responsible and transparent budgeting, and supporting a healthy, safe community for families of all ages.

Professional Background
Davids professional background is rooted in project leadership, operations, and hands-on problem solving. During his 14 years at Apple, he helped lead complex retail remodeling projects and new store openings across North and South America, coordinating teams, schedules, vendors, budgets, and countless moving pieces to deliver high-quality results in demanding environments. That experience strengthened his ability to manage large projects, solve problems quickly, communicate across different teams, and keep people focused on a common goal. Today, he bring those same skills home to Moorpark as the owner of a local finish carpentry business (Basic Trimworks), where he works directly with customers, manage projects from start to finish, and understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses in our community.

Serves as a board member and coach, with responsibility for facilities oversight, helping maintain and improve the fields and spaces where local kids play, learn, and build community.
Apple Project Leadership
Led and supported retail remodels and new store openings across North and South America. Trained teams ranging in size from 80 to 600 people in retail merchandising standards.
